Maharishi Clothes

Maharishi has been in existence since the early nineties. It was created by Hardy Blechman and has had a loyal following ever since. The label draws a big influence from oriental and miliatary styles. The label really exploded in the late nineties when they were connected to many celebrities such as All Saints and Madonna. The clothing formed the signature style of All Saints. The products are available in many boutiques as well as their flagship store in Covent Garden, London on the famous Floral Street which also features Paul Smith’s boutiques.

The label was forward thinking in its initial conception as an environmentally friendly brand when it was launched in the early nineties. What might now seem as a sensible move, was very off the wall back then.

Maharishi clothes have ranges for men, women and children and there are strong links with nature felt in the designs. The label has never conformed to the mainstream and its continued success can be put down to this attitude.

While it was initially famous for its late nineties styles, maharishi clothes has not stood still in its design styles. It still produces up to date styles and designs. Although it has not lost its signature style.
