The label was created by twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten. They are originally from Toronto but decided to move to Italy in the early nineties as they felt it a better place to forge their fashion career. They have been producing men’s fashion under the Dsquared brand since the early nineties.
The label is now hugely popular and the brothers are still fully active in the direction of the brand. The brand has extended to underwear, accessories and footwear. They often have links with celebrities such as Justin Timberlake and Lenny Kravtitz.
As well as producing a wide range of men’s clothes, they also produce stage outfits for many well known pop star’s world tours. They are set to launch a range of men’s sunglasses in summer 2009.
The clothes are available around the world and online and they also have a number of flagship stores in locations such as Milan and Hong Kong.
